ReadyLists ("we", "our", "the app") is a checklist application built for speed and simplicity. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

Anonymous authentication. When you first open the app, Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous user ID. This ID is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or any personal information. It exists solely to associate your checklists with your device session.

Checklist data. When you create a checklist from a template, the checklist and its items are stored in Google Cloud Firestore under your anonymous ID. This data includes only template titles, item labels, and checked/unchecked status.

No personal information. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personally identifiable information.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

• No email or password
• No location or GPS data
• No contacts or address book
• No photos, camera, or microphone access
• No browsing history
• No advertising identifiers
• No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs

3. How We Use Your Data

Your checklist data is used exclusively to:

• Display your checklists within the app
• Sync checked/unchecked status so your progress is saved

We do not sell, share, rent, or trade your data with any third party.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses Google Firebase for anonymous authentication and cloud storage (Firestore). Firebase is operated by Google and is subject to Google's privacy policy. No other third-party services, analytics tools, or ad networks are used.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud servers secured by Firebase. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to your checklist data is restricted to your anonymous session only — no other user can read or modify it.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your checklist data persists as long as your anonymous session is active. If you delete the app, your anonymous session ends and the data becomes inaccessible. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at admin@readylists.io.

7. Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since no personal information is collected from any user, the app is safe for all ages.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
